Richard L. Bagge, 71, died at 3:58 am February 5, 2000, at his residence.
He was born November 11, 1928, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to LeRoy and Anne E. Jansma Bagge. On June 14, 1952, he married Mary H. Connelly, who survives.
Mr. Bagge was a maintenance manager for BP Chemicals. He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. He was a member of Benevolent Protective Order of Elks Lodge 54.
Survivors also include a son, James R. Bagge of Lima; two daughters, Mary Ann (Ron) Roof of Lima and Sally A. (Jeff) Huston of Westerville; a brother, Donald R. Bagge of Lakewood, Colorado; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two infant sons and two infant daughters.
Services were held at St. Charles Catholic Church. The Reverend Vincent Hoying officiated. Burial is at Gethsemani Cemetery.
