CARL OTTO APPELBERG
Carl Otto Appelberg, age 82, passed away on April 2, 2007. Otto was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida. He was a member of Plumbers and Steam Fitters local Union 366 for 56 years, a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, and a World War II Veteran as an Army Medic.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl O. Appelberg Sr. and Ellen, and brother Athniel K. Appelberg.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty, sister Helen Capen of Fort Walton, FL, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral mass will be officiated by Monsignor John T. Cassidy will be Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at St. Thomas More Church at 10 AM, with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Chapman Ryder, Kenneth A. Raines, Michael W. Raines, Kenneth McClure, Rudy Lopez, and Jay Cowick.
In lieu of flowers, make donations to St. Thomas More Catholic Church "poor box".
