Paul Robert Harrison was born Paul Robert Mikolajczyk in Olean, NY to Kaiser Michael Mikolajczyk and Dorothy Miller. After the death of his father, his mother Dorothy moved the family to Texas where she remarried and Paul was adopted by her second husband Arthur Harrison. In the sixty's Paul was a DJ at KNOW radio in Austin, Texas where he then later managed a band called The Wig. He later become a sound engineer went on to working in the music and film industry as a sound engineer working with many of the local artists in Austin and was the sound re-recordist for the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
