Louis Dunn Beall is a desc. of the Maryland Bealls. His father was Thomas Beall of Asa and his mother Massa Dunn. His line is registered in the SAR National Registry, and for the most part is accurate. L. D. Beall opened a grocery store in 1850 in Uniontown, PA and sold it to his brother then moved on. He ventured into taverns and inns, livery stables and real estate. He was mentioned several times in the History of Uniontown as an shaker and a mover in the beginning of Uniontown's history. In 1852 he and John Henry McClelland had a "whiskey store." L. D. Beall and his wife, along with about 20 other founding fathers bought the land that the Oak Grove aka Oakdale Cemetery sits on.
Louis Dunn Beall, aka L. D. Beall and his wife, Isabella Frey had the following children:
Mary Beall who married John Gilmore, 16 April 1874, settled in Uniontown.
