Grace Barber Dies, Services Sunday

Grace J. Barber died early today at Maranatha Manor where she had lived for several years.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Wright Funeral Home, Brookfield, conducted by the Rev. Phillip Neimeyer. Burial will be in Laclede Cemetery.
Friends may call at Wright Funeral Home beginning Saturday morning.
Mrs. Barber was born March 29, 1897, at Laclede, the daughter of John W. and Rosa (Willard) Haight. She was married Sept. 6, 1916, to Harry L. Barber. He died July 22, 1970.
She is survived by several cousins.
She was active in organizations of Trinity United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, Electa Class, had served as Sunday school superintendent, financial secretary for many years and was a member of the church choir.
Mrs. Barber was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Brookfield Women's Civic Organization.
