Services for retired commercial fisherman Floyd E. Dennison, 79, will be held Wednesday at noon at Kehl's Forest Lawn Mortuary with the Rev. Don Stump officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Richardson National Cemetery. Mr. Denison died Dec. 28 at Providence Hospital. Born Oct. 20, 1907, in British Columbia, Canada, he had lived in Alaska for more than 50 years. Mr. Denison also worked as a a water operator at Lake Clark. He was a former foster grandparent, and a member of the Pioneers of Alaska. He leaves two daughters, Laverne Larson of Big Lake and Shirley Hansen of San Diego, Calif.; his brother, Donald Pierson of Bend, Ore.; five grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren.
