Richmond Hill - Ms. Ernestine Williams Holmes, 57, died Saturday, September 2, 2006. She was born in Waynesboro, GA; reared in Savannah and retired from American Cyanamid/Kemira as an administrative secretary after 25 years of service.

Survivors: two sons and daughters-in-law, LeRoy (Mayona L.) Holmes, Jr. of Midway, Leonard (Patrice) Holmes of Florida; four grandchildren, Atria N. Holmes, LeRoy Holmes, III, Leonard Holmes Jr. and Eva Marie Holmes; mother, Jessie Mae McKennie of Savannah; three sister, Geraldine Newman of Decatur, Catherine Humes and Pauline James and one brother, Calvin McKennie, Jr., all of Savannah; a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 7-8 p.m. Monday, September 11, 2006 at the funeral home. Funeral: 11 a.m., Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at The Lighthouse Tabernacle of Praise, 1464 Limerick Rd., Midway. The Body will rest at the Church from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service. Dorchester Funeral Home is in charge.
