Cyril Joe Vitek, 80, passed away at Angleton-Danbury Hospital in Angleton, TX Friday, December 7, 2001.
Cyril has been a member of the local community since 1950, was an Army veteran of WWII, KJT member, member of the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree. He retired after 30+ years with the fire department for Dow Chemical in 1982. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.
Cyril is survived by his wife of 54+ years, Dorothy Motl Vitek of Lake Jackson; by children David C. Vitek, Gary F. Vitek, Danny J. Vitek, Kathy Scott, Mark G. Vitek, Karen Stephens and Randy P. Vitek. By grandchildren Kristen Scott, Allison Vitek, Andrew Vitek, Ryan Stephens, Blake Stephens and Austin Stephens. Sisters, Dorothy Klecka and Agnes Cook. Brothers, Libert Vitek, Bennie Vitek, Frank Vitek and Dominic Vitek.
