Ben C. Averson of Meade Co. died last Tues. July 11, 1905. He was born June 1, 1833 and married Miss Olive Jane Cain on Sept. 30, 1853.
He was a member of Methodist Church for many years and was a teacher and superintendent of the Cedar Grove Sunday school for 48 years.
Survived by wife and 5 children, a brother and sister. Buried at Cedar Grove Cemetery. His parents were Pleasant Alverson and Catherine Jordan King Alverson.
