Retta Berniece FERGUSON, 82, of Tingley, Iowa, passed away peacefully of congestive heart failure on October 9, 2005 at Olathe Medical Center. Memorial services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, October 13, 2005 at the Presbyterian Church in Tingley, Iowa.
Retta was born May 1, 1923 in Ringgold County, Iowa to Oscar and Arby GARLAND. She attended school in Tingley where she was recognized for her beautiful singing voice. Retta married Ira FERGUSON, the love of her life, on September 11, 1941. She was a devoted wife to Ira and loving mother to her three boys. Retta was an active member of the Presbyterian Church in Tingley and was a committed servant of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
