Baier, Ralph W., of St. Charles, Missouri, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Sunday, August 2, 2009 at the age of 95. Dear son of the late William J. and Mary Baier; devoted father of Carol (Marty) Rothermich, Joan Kirchhoefer, Fr. Bill Baier, and John Baier; cherished grandfather of Don, Sara, and Dan Rothermich, Dave (Kari) Kirchhoefer and Tim Kirchhoefer, Berin (Sarah) Waller and Kate Waller, and Stephen Baier; cherished great-grandfather of Kaci and Payton Kirchhoefer and Paxton Waller; dear brother of Virginia Benz. Ralph is preceded in death by his first wife LaVerne Baier; second wife Virginia Baier; his daughter-in-law Marta Baier; sister Marguerite Baier; sister and brother-in-law Grace and Jake Mueller; brother-in-law Bernard Benz.
Ralph retired from St. Louis County were he was employed as a field auditor / accountant for many years. He was a member of Knights of Columbus, 823 St. Charles, MO and proudly served in the Army during World War II.
