Jimmy was only 20 when US Marshall's murdered him while attempting to arrest him for violating his parole for not attending his court mandated drug rehab classes.
He was in a crowded supermarket parking lot with two teenagers in the car. US Marshall's attempted to block his SUV in...US Marshall's closed in from the left, Jimmy turned hard to the right to try and make his escape. US Marshall's jumped from their vehicle firing nearly 30 rounds into the head, face and chest of Jimmy.
Jimmy was unarmed and he may have had some trouble; anyone that knew him would agree that his troubles were not much different than any another kid on the street. The question on the mind of the community is, "Why didn't US Marshall's just let Jimmy go and follow him and arrest him at another time?" After all, he was not a hardened felon, he was from the Rogue Valley and wasn't going anywhere.
A life senselessly ended by bullets from the guns of rogue cops or law officers doing their job to protect themselves and the community which they serve? Many people agree...rogue cops with a gun are the real danger, not a teenager who failed to show up for drug class.
As seen in the pictures, flowers, angels, crosses and other memorials can be seen at the grave site of Jimmy where he is buried next to his grandmother; Lillian Georgeson (Memorial# 89675330). Be sure and leave Virtual flowers for Jimmy on this memorial.
What's left in the wake of stray bullets are the family and friends who miss Jimmy everyday. The ironic thing is all of them agree, Jimmy was no angel; but he did not deserve to be murdered.
Now, Jimmy sings with the angels...while Jimmy is no longer in pain and has no more tears and no more sorrow...he awaits those that love him to join him in Heaven...so be patient...live out your life and when your time is right, Jimmy will be waiting for you! God bless you Jim, Lisa, Taylor, Sophia, Glenda (I always hate to start naming names because I forget or just don't know, but you know) all those who continue to keep Jimmy's memory alive.
The link (Lillian Bak Georgeson (Memorial# 89675330)) below is not Jimmy's mother...it is really his grandmother...but there is no other way to link it.
