Ora, a daughter of Lafayette and Alice Love Alcorn, was their fifth child. Her older siblings were:
Lola Alcorn Buntin (1886-1968)
Roy Anvil (1887-1962),
Clyde S. (1889-1939)
Scott Lee (1891-1946)
The parents had lost two other daughters, (Myrtle and Loven) in the late 1890s while the family was living in Belgrade, MO.
Ora passed away in 1908 at the tender age of 14 possibly from Tuberculosis (this cannot be verified as no death certificates were required in MO until 1910). TB was widespread in this area during this time, and another great-grandmother who lived in Van Buren, MO had also died earlier in 1908 of it.
I'm sure all were greatly saddened by Ora's death and missed her terribly.
