"Mrs. Lydia Grenzebach, 83, of the Cheffield Apartments died at 6:08 p.m. Monday, June 28, 1993, at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.

She was the widow of Ralph Grenzebach who died in 1969.

Mrs. Grenzebach was employed as a secretary for a furniture company at Alton for a number of years, moving here after retirement. While here she had served as secretary for the Kon-Tiki Senior Citizens operations.

Funeral rites were conducted Thursday morning (today) from Nale's Funeral Home, with Rev. Bob Patterson officiating. Interment was to be at Valhalla Cemetery at Alton, with graveside rites. Visitation was held at Nale's Wednesday evening.

She was orn in Fairfield January 12, 1910, the daughter of Foster P. and Harriet Adams Allen.

Mrs. Grenzebach was a member of the Ellen Moore United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to the Ellen Moore United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a brother, Thomas Allen of Fairfield, and one niece, Judy Hout of Flat Rock."
