She married James Wiggins Flora on Saturday, February 3, 1838 in Hamilton County, Illinois; moving to & residing in Harmony, Posey County, Indiana after their marriage.
James & Sarah moved to Robb, Posey County, Indiana by 1850. James purchased 40 acres in 1855 in Franklin County, Illinois. In 1860 She & James were farming in Barren Twp., Franklin County, Illinois. Neither James nor Sarah could read or write. After her husband’s death; Sarah moved with her children to Vincennes, Knox County, Indiana.
