Thelbert "Al" E. Applen, 82, died Thursday, April 13, 2000, at his Camas, Washington home.
Mr. Applen was a foreman at the old Lucky Lager Brewery before he retired.
His wife, Genevieve M., died in 1976.
Survivors include four daughters, Jerry Nelson of Camas, Judy St. Germain of Idaho, Teddy Mires of Washougal and Gladine Bridges of North Carolina; two sons, Rusty of Ridgefield and Robbin of Camas; one sister, Gladyne Joern of Portland; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded to heaven by his parents, Albert and Bertha Wold Applen.
A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2000 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Straub's Funeral Home in Camas was in charge of cremation.
