Charles A. Townsend, 78, Passes Away at His Home
Funeral services for Charles Albert Townsend were held Tuesday at 2 o'clock in the Hughes Memorial Church in Edmonds, with Reb. Henry L. Haines officiating. Interment was in the family lot in Washelli, under the direction of Swedberg's Funeral Home of Edmonds.
Mr. Townsend passed away Saturday morning, November 22 at the family home here where he had been a resident for 23 years. Born at Lockport, Illinois, he was 78 years old.
Surviving are the wife, Anna Rebecca; one son, Glen Townsend of Tacoma; a sister, Mrs. Jose Hollier of Gerard, Kansas; and a brother, Arthur Townsend, of Pisgah, Iowa.
