Albert Boesken, was born January 24, 1891, in the State of Washington. His parents were Albert Ernest Boesken, and Maria Louisa Heithmeier Boesken, both natives of Germany.

Albert's younger sister, Constance, was born two years later, in 1893. She too was a native of Washington State.

The family moved to San Francisco, California by 1900. Their residence was located at 2457 Sacramento Street, in San Francisco, for the next 30 years.

Albert's father, had retired before the 1930 United States Census was enumerated. However, Albert and his sister were employed. Albert was a salesman at a well known specialty shop in the city, while his sister Constance was employed as a public school teacher.

Albert and Blanche (nee Mirrasoul) Boesken were married in San Francisco and established their home in St. Francis Woods, on Santa Ana Avenue. They did not have any children but showered their love on their many nieces and nephews throughout the years. Christmas and Easter were especially memorable.

Al and Blanche would spend the rest of their lives at their home in San Francisco. They enjoyed entertaining family and friends, hosting wonderful dinners, and cocktail parties celebrating special occasions. In their later years, they often traveled by ship to the Islands, or by automobile to Palm Springs.

Al was a member of Occidental California Lodge No.1, F.&A.M.; Islam Temple of the Shriners; and California Bodies & Sons In Retirement.

Albert passed away on 04 October 1976,at Skyline Terrace Convalescence Hospital after a brief illness. Per his request, no funeral services were held. His beloved wife, Blanche, passed away in 1978. Both were interred at Woodlawn Cemetery, in Colma, San Mateo County, California, USA.
