Note: Luther C and Martha J Abbott were reported born in 1839 throughout all the paperwork. This death record from the doctor, indicating where he was buried, is still indicating that Luther was born in 1839. Martha's birth date on all the paperwork indicates 1839/1840. Unless they were both lying about their age by 10 years throughout their life, I tend to think there is a misread of his birth registry (no paperwork available), which was passed on to the family members that erected this stone. Very unfortunate.
