William Carrillo Aragon

William C. Aragon passed away at the age of 88. Born in San Bernardino, California, to Angela Carrillo Aragon and Ignacio Aragon. The oldest of five children, brother Reymondo (Ray) preceded him in death and brothers Arturo (Art) and Ignacio (Robert) and sister Eva Carreon Romero survive him.
In June of 1943 he enlisted in the U.S. Army, was trained at Ft. Riley, Kansas, and was assigned to the 3rd Army and deployed to Germany during World War II including the Battle of the Bulge. Before deploying he married Hortencia (Nancy) Quijada. While in Germany, their first child, Delfina was born. He was Honorably Discharged in January of 1946 and joined his family in Los Angeles. In 1949 William Aragon Jr. was born.
The family relocated to Watsonville, California in 1961 where he had a 35 year career with Nestle Company as a warehouse manager and eventually West Coast Regional Warehouse manager and was part of the Nestle Corporate Management Team making frequent trips to White Plains, New York.
In the 1990's He and Nancy moved to Spanish Springs, Nevada. Daughter Delfina joined them shortly after. Nancy passed away in 2000. Bill is survived by his daughter Delfina, William (Bill) Jr.(Eileen), grandchildren Michael, Clara, Teresa, Michael, Carrie, Martin, Forrest, Danielle, and 7 great grandchildren.
Arrangements at the Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Fernley, Nevada are pending.
