Pearl L. (Strand) Anderson, 89, of Country Way, Wallingford, formerly of Cheshire, beloved wife of Harry T. Anderson, died Monday, Dec. 22, 2003, at the Brook Hollow Health Care Center in Wallingford.

Born Feb. 8, 1914, in West Haven, a daughter of the late Samuel and Bertha Boresen Strand, she had been a Cheshire resident for many years until moving to Wallingford 18 years ago. She had been employed as a sales associate for the Sanford Fabric Barn in Hamden for many years.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy L. and Paul A. Kesilewski of Wallingford; her son James P. Anderson; her five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and a nephew, Peter Strand and his wife Kelly Strand.

A memorial service in celebration of Pearl's life will be held in the Wallingford Funeral Home, Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be sent to the Trinity Evangelical Free Church, Woodbridge, CT.
