William Paul Fink was a graduate of The National Veterinary College Hospital in Washington, D.C. He was awarded a medal as the top student for the session of 1893-94. After graduation, he served as the veterinarian for the City of Atlantic City. He took care of the fire department horses. Upon the horses retirement, he would take them to the Fink Family Farm in Mays Landing.
