Mrs. Bittel, 44 Year Resident of Liverpool Dies-

Mrs. Caroline Schwambach Bittel, a resident of Liverpool for 44 years, died this morning at the age of 70 years. Born in Phoenix, Mrs. Bittel came to this city when a young girl.
She is survived by her husband, John Bittel; one son, Clarence W. Bittel of Liverpool, two daughters, Mrs. A. Dorschung of Syracuse, and Mrs. W. A. Hamlin of Mt. Vernon; three sisters, Mrs. George Heitzman, Mrs. Wm. J. Smith and Mrs. Alexander Werner, all of Syracuse. There are five grandchildren.
Mrs. Bittel was a member of Liverpool Chapter Order of Eastern Star, Garfield Council, Daughters of Liberty, and St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home, 308 Fourth Street. Burial will be in Liverpool Cemetery, the Rev. Dudde officiating.
