MARTIN, CAROLYN ANN - age 57, of Clinton, passed away Monday, October 15, 2001, in Dayton, Ohio. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was a truck driver for Try-Hours Freight Company in Michigan.

Carolyn was born January 5, 1944, in Knox County.

Preceded in death by parents, George Wesley and Mattie Cooper Lucas.

Survivors: sons, Charles "Tony" Martin and wife, Mara of Powell, Dean "Eddie" Martin and wife, Beth of Claxton, and Lesley "Kevin" Martin and wife, Anglia of Clinton; step son, Wendell Joe Martin and wife, Kim of Clinton; five grandchildren; brothers, George Lucas of Knoxville, and Darrell Lucas and wife, Lynn of Powell.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday, October 18, 2001, at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton, with funeral service following at 8 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment will be 10:30 a.m. at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
