Braswell served as president, secretary and treasurer of the National Executive Housekeepers Organization. She was a teacher and mail carrier in Livingston County for several years. She was a member of Birdsville Baptist Church and attended the Church of the Nazarene in Cincinnati.
Surviving are a brother, Everett Edmonds of Livingston County; three nephews and seven nieces.
Her parents were Albert Sidney and Anna C. Litton Edmonds.
Funeral services were held Aug. 20 at Boyd Funeral Chapel at Salem. Burial was in Edmonds Cemetery.
