He was a farmer. He was a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ.
He was survived by his wife, Flora (Larkin) Acton; his son, Isaac Kenneth Acton of Crab Orchard, Kentucky; his daughter, Shirley Measel of Somerset, Kentucky; his brother, J.B. Acton of Stanford, Kentucky; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Aaron Acton and Eva (McWilliams) Acton.
Funeral services were held at the chapel of Morris and Hislope Golden Rule Funeral Home with Brother Kelly Ellis officiating.
