Myrta E. Van Vleck Davis, a native of Woodville, Texas, went to be with her Lord on June 12, 1903 at the age of 39 years. She leaves behind her a loving husband, the honorable Methodist minister, William F. Davis, and children; Davey, James, Bessie, Myrta, and newborn William Ferdinand Davis Jr.; and numerous siblings. She was preceeded in death by her father, George Washington Van Vleck and her mother, Mary J. Isbell Van Vleck.
