In 1940 farm manager Henry Alberda, 21 years aged, lived with his parents, William M Alberda (55 y, county commissioner of Gallatin County) and Clara (55 y too) and his siblings Joe (24 y, farm manager too), William C (17 y) and Nellie (14 y), still like in 1930 and 1935 in the Dutch settlement Holland, later on called Amsterdam-Churchill, in Gallatin County at an own farm.
Henry W. Alberda married on 3 October 1940 in his birth and residence place Manhattan, Gallatin County, at the age of 22 years to the three years younger Ellen Marjorie Ypma, also born and residing in Manhattan and daughter of Sako Ypma and Carrie Scow.
About 1946 their son Richard Allen was born at an unknown place. About 1947 their daughter Constance Joy was born in Helena, the capital of Montana and located in the southwestern part of it.
Henry died in 2006 in Manhattan at the age of 88 years. His wife Ellen is then still alive.
