Gertrude Bly, since 1919 widow of Ernest G. Bly, remarried on 11 October 1919 in Noble County, Indiana, to the 11 years older cabinet maker Raymond De Lanoo, born on 18 January 1884 in Paris, France, son of late Ivo De Lanoo and Julia Myheur. They both resided then in Gertrude's birthcity Kendalville. Raymond immigrated in 1902 and divorced on 26 September 1919 from his first -not mentioned-wife.
In 1920 Gertie lived with her second husband Raymond Delanoo and her daughters Ernestine and Ellen or Elaine Bly in Wayne Township, Noble County, Indiana. In 1930 she lived with the same persons in her birthtown Kendalville, Wayne Township, Noble County, Indiana.
In April 1940 Gertrude De Lanoo (46 y), her husband Raymond De Lanoo (57 y, born in France, cabinet maker in a refrigerator factory) and his grandson Richard C. Williams (2 y) lived at an own home, worth $1000, in Ward 4 of Kendallville, Wayne Township, Noble County, Indiana. In 1935 they resided in the same place.
