Services for Cornelia May Curtis, 57, were held Jan. 22, 1985 at the First Baptist Church in Dickson with the Dr. Don McCoy officiating. Burial followed in Union Cemetery. Mrs. Curtis died Jan. 20 in Goodlark Hospital. A native of Dickson County, she was the daughter of the late Grady Lee Tipton and Clara Odell Brown. A housewife, member of the First Baptist Church, and a member of the American Legion Auxillary. Mrs. Curtis was the widow of the late Arthur Curtis who died in 1960.
Survivors include two sons, William Richard Curtis and Gregory Curtis both of Dickson; three daughters Sherry Curtis Dill of Dickson, Anita Lynn Curtis Wright of Dickson and Nancy Curtis Dill of Charlotte; one brother, Grady Tipton of Nashville; one sister Patricia Ann Tipton of Nashville; and nine grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Tom Edge, Stewart Culpepper, Robby Pickens, Warren Medley, Bill Barrett, Lamar Gassett and Archie Kimbro.
