Eva M. Riggs Adams Butler
The daughter of George and Minerva Riggs. On October 1, 1885, she married her first husband, D. Eric Adams and he died in 1931, they had one son, Harry Shaw Adams.
She married her second husband, Dr. A.E. Butler who is buried beside his first wife Rosa, in this same cemetery.

MRS. EVA BUTLER DIES MONDAY
Eva Butler, 97, passed away Monday after three years of illiness at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Ralph Stahl, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Mrs. Butler was born in Saybrook, a daughter of George and Minerva Riggs. She was married to Dr. A. E. Butler who died in 1950.
She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Funeral services were held Wednesday evening at the Fisher Funeral Home in Fortville, Indiana.
Graveside services will be held at the Riverside Cemetery in Saybrook with Rev. Leo Ewing officiating.
