Thomas Gray is buried in the Old Hope Cemetery, Midland County, Hope, Michigan between his wife Lillie Gray and his son Forrest Gray. As of 2012, the location of his original grave stone is unknown. A family member placed a makeshift grave stone to mark his grave. It is a white stone with a curved top and says "Our Baby" on it. It is actually the grave of Thomas Gray. His wife Lillie was born in 1882 and died in 1915 so his dates of birth/death are probably of a similar time frame. The three grave stones had previously been surrounded by a very overgrown lilac bush which has since been removed and possibly something happened to Thomas' grave stone in the process of removing the bush or maybe it had deteriorated previous to this.
