Mr. Gunsenhouser went home to his heavenly Father on Sunday. Born 84 years ago to the late Paul and Sara Gunsenhouser, Gus was a graduate of Butler High School and International Business College. He spent his working life in the automotive field and was a retiree of Fort Wayne Community Schools. A member of Senior Softball U.S.A. and the National Association of Senior Citizen Softball, he was active in the Senior Softball League in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and in Mesa and Scottsdale, Arizona. He loved his church and family. He is survived by his wife; two daughters & sons-in-law; a son; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and his sister.

A service was held in his honor on Saturday, Nov. 5, at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 1505 Bethany Lane, Fort Wayne. Family requested memorials to Gethsemane Lutheran Church. Arrangements were made by Carnahan-Baidinger & Walter Funeral Home, Spencerville, Indiana.
