Kenneth Leo Allen, Jr., age 85, formally of Live Oak, FL passed away Friday, August 23, 2013 at his home in Marianna, FL. He was a native of Live Oak moving to Marianna twenty years ago to be closer to his family. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force having served in the Korean War as a Tech Sergeant and was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Marianna. He was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth "Cotton" Allen and Merle Allen, his sister, Betty Jean Allen. He is survived by three sons, Ralph (Patricia) Allen, Tallahassee, FL; John (Yvonne) Allen, Marianna, FL; Kenneth (Denise) Allen, III, Philadelphia, PA and Shirley Curry, Defuniak Springs, FL; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Graveside services were held 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 29, 2013 in the Live Oak Cemetery with full military rites. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Disabled Veterans National Foundation, P.O. Box 96648 Washington, DC 20090-6648
