MIDDLETON - Edna Aeschliman, age 84, of Middleton, died on Friday, Oct. 3, 2003, at the Don and Marilyn Anderson HospiceCare Center.

Edna was born on Oct. 4, 1918, in the Town of Exeter in Green County, the daughter of Christian and Lottie (Beckwith) Mani.

She married Ernest Aeschliman on Aug. 30, 1958, in Nashua,
Iowa. Edna was a cook for the Middleton School District for
many years. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and loved
to play bingo and look for garage sales, hdna was a member
of St. Luke's Lutheran Church.

Edna is survived by her husband, Ernest; her children, Mary
(Ronnie) Brock of Ripon, Annette (Robert) Thomas of Florida,
Peter Diederich of Madison, Jo Ann (William) Wagner of Arlington, LeRoy Diederich of Arnold, Mo., James (Faith Ann) Diederich of Ml. Home, Idaho, Anthony (Laura) Diederich of Dodgeville, Larry Aeschliman of Middleton; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren; a sister, June Barrett; and a brother, Archie (Elaine) Mani, both of Madison. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Anthony Diederich in 1953; her parents; a daughter, Susan; six brothers and sisters; a grandson, Robert James; and a granddaughter, Tammy Jo.

Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens.
