"Page Pioneer" Kathleen Therese "Kathy" Anderson, 1960 Page High School graduate, helped to birth "America's Last Frontier" -- Page, Arizona, along with her parents and siblings.

Kathy Anderson '60:
FHA Vice President 4; Spanish Club 3; Annual Staff 4; Student Council Representative 1; Pep Club 4; Twirler 4; Chorus 4.

Kathy and her family moved to Phoenix, Arizona from Page, where her dad, Tom (Isabel) Anderson, was Manager/Dispatcher for Marco Crane & Rigging in Phoenix.

Because she was attending a hair stylist school there, her long, by then, curly, jet-black hair was done up in elaborate, fancy hairstyles every night when she dated PHS classmate Ellis Adrain '60 for over a year just before he enlisted in the US Navy Seabeas Reserves (1961-1963).

Her younger brother, Mike, had the same curly, jet-black hair.

When her father, Thomas C. Anderson, died in Spokane, WA on January 18, 1981, Kathy Anderson was living in Tucson, AZ. She was still living in Tucson when her mother Isabel/Isabelle R. (White) Anderson, died December 1, 1982, but her last name had changed to Russell. Her brother, Mike '62, was listed in both his parents' obituaries, but brother, David '62, was not listed in his mother's obituary.
