TUSCALOOSA | Elizabeth Todd Alexander, age 78, of Tuscaloosa, died May 30, 2014, at home. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at First Baptist Church in Northport with Rev. J. C. Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Oak Memorial Park with The Historical Van Hoose & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Services directing. Visitation will be Monday from 1 to 5 p.m. with family hour from 5 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Netho Alexander; and parents, Joe and Laura Todd.
Survivors include her son, Christopher Alexander (Lisa) of Douglasville, Ga.; brother, Melvin Holmes (Dorothy) of Louisville, Ky.; grandchildren, Jordan and Joshua Alexander of Douglasville, Ga.; and a loving companion, Willie Bush.
