Amos and Sophronia moved to Reno County, Kansas probably around the same time as his son (my great-great grandfather), George Amos Eastman moved there in 1882. Amos and Sophronia both lived out the rest of their lives there.
Amos' children by Julia were: Elizabeth Jane (b. 1838), George Amos (1840-1883), Dr. Albert Faxon Eastman (1843-1884), Jennie Mary (1846-1852) and Wilbur Brainerd (1851-1928)
His children by Sophronia were: Charles Rollin (1855-1938), Ella Eugenia (1859-1925), Carl (died as an infant in 1867) Minnie Ardella (1867-1941), Sadie Louise (b. 1865)and Hamlin Edward (b. 1860)
His burial at Eastside is listed on the 1978 survey of the cemetery, but not on the 2006 one. I would assume that his grave should be close to Sophronia's.
