Ebenezer was the twin brother of Hepzibah, they were born about 5 hours after sunset on Aug. 19, 1701. They were the sons of Samuel and Priscilla (Pratt) Bushnell. He married Dorothy Ingham, daughter of Ebenezer and Dorothy (Stone) Ingham, 17 Nov 1730 in Saybrook, CT. He and his wife Dorothy, by record dated 25 Jun 1733, owned the covenant in the 3rd Congregational Church at Westbrook, where their deaths are also of record. His will was prob. in 1783, mentions his wife Dorothy, and sons Joseph, Reuben, and Ebenezer. "The Bushnell Family Genealogy." page 66
May be the Ebenezer Bushnell who was Selectman of Saybrook. "The Refugees of 1776 from Long Island to Connecticut", page 917.
