I have known Gus Beard for more then 35 years and He was the same Man the last time I talked to His as He was the first time I talked to Him. He was just Gus all the time and did not change from what He belived in. Gus was a Great Friend to every one He met.He loved to Drive the Buses and meet new Friends. He traveled all over the country and He loved every minute of doing this. He would stop by my Home and tell me all about where He had been.
before I retired I got to travel some with Gus. we worked for two different bus companys but some time we had Charters to the same place.
Gus was always laughing about something. He loved to tell clean jokes and Gus would always speak what ever He belived in.
I, like so many others will miss Gus. God only made one Guston (Gus) Beard and I was Blessed just to know Him and be called His Friend.
Thanks Gus, for your Friendship and all the memories you left me.
