MARIETTA -- Services for Mardema "Mutt" Elliott, 81, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Harris officiating. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery.
Born Nov. 5, 1923, in Willis to Marshall and Nellie Henson Pelham, she died Dec. 19, 2004, at the local hospital.
She attended school at Willis and moved to Marietta following her marriage to Doc Edward Elliott on April 26, 1941. She was a homemaker and a protestant. She was preceded in death by her husband on Oct. 27, 2003,; a grandchild; and two brothers.
Survivors include three sons; Ray and Corkey, Marietta, and Ricky, Mustang; a daughter, Teresa Ortega, Marietta; eight grandchildren; a stepgrandson; and six great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Terry Vernon, Charles and Ronnie Hilton, Steven Henson, Jerry Kerr and Roy Henderson. Honorary bearers are Keeton Manuel, Brylun Anderson, Johnny Hilton and Bruce Callen.
