Mrs. Opal Dunn Dies Friday---- Funeral Monday
Mrs. Opal Dunn, 63, 715 Noble street, died at 1:57 p.m. Friday at Jackson County Schneck Memorial Hospital. She had been in failing health for the past year.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday from the Voss Chapel with the Rev. Dewey Allman, pastor of the Seymour Christ Temple, officiating. Burial in Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Voss Mortuary after1p.m. Sunday. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to contribute memorials to the cancer fund.
Mrs. Dunn was born Aug. 10, 1913, in Seymour, the daughter of the late Rural and Annabelle Shoemaker Waterbury. She had lived in Seymour all of her life and before her illness, she did home nursing and was a waitress in local restaurants.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs John ( Sarah ) Durham, of Indianapolis; a granddaughter, Sheryl, at home in Indianapolis, and two sisters: Mrs Esther Clouse and Mrs Susie Hellman, both of Seymour. Four brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
