Death of Miss Ellen Goin
Miss Ellen B. Goin, a daughter of Francis M. and Mourning E. Goin, died in her home in the northern part of Pratt county, Kansas, Friday, death being due to influenza.
Ellen was born in Stafford County, Kansas, June 20, 1886, and died December 6, 1918, age 32 years, 5 months and 16 days. She has been an invalid from early childhood and has been a constant care for her mother and the other members of her family, but during all those years she was a cheerful and patient sufferer. She leaves to mourn her death, her mother, three brothers, three nieces, other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held at the home Sunday morning at 11 o'clock and were conducted by Rev. W.H. Briggs, pastor of the Plano church. Interment was made at the Leesburg cemetery in the presences of a host of sympathizing friends.
The Courier joins the friends in extending sincere sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
