Mr. Hufford was employed as a manager by the National Biscuit Company in Kansas City for 21 years. He also worked at the Kansas Flour Mills Company and Farmland Industries before retiring in 1975. After retirement, he shared special times with Louise at home, where he enjoyed frequent visits from their grandchildren. Estel was well-known in the community for his gardening skills and well-groomed lawn.
Estel was preceded in death by his wife, Louisa, brother, Francis, and sister, Emma Lee. He is survived by his daughters, Mary Baltzell and Roberta McCleery, both of Kansas City, Alberta Martin, Riverside, MO, and Betty Kauffman, Robinson, KS, and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
