Kim L. Atcheson, 42, Leawood, KS, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 1997, of cancer at his home.

Kim was born in Kansas City on November 21, 1954 to Dr. Bellfield and Genevieve "Gennie" Atcheson.

He was married to Deborah Van Vranken.

Kim was a graduate from Westminister College, Fulton, MO, where he was a member of Beta Theta Pi.

His career in Fleet Management returned him to Kansas City in 1994, most recently with LaPetite Academy.

Kim was a member of the Country Club Christian Church, Friends of the Zoo, the Confederate Air Force, the Society of Automotive Engineers, the Tribe of Mic-O-Say, Boy Scouts of America and the National Fleet Managers Association.

Services will be held at the Chapel of the Country Club Christian Church at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 31, preceded by visitation at 12 noon.

Burial will be 1 p.m. Sunday in Jefferson City at the Riverview Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Kansas City Hospice, in lieu of flowers.
