HOURIGAN, MARGARET KOUNTZ, 89, of Louisville passed away Thursday, March 11, 2010.

She was the daughter of the late Harry and Anna Chandler Kountz and was a retired from Monon Railroad and a member of the St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, John J. Hourigan; three children, Janice Baxter Key, Michael Patrick Hourigan and Richard J."Rich" Hourigan.

She is survived by a son, John M. (Susan) Hourigan; a brother, Johnny (Verna) Kountz; three sisters, Betty Fenwick , Joni (Ralph) Hammer and Doris (Eddie) Wilkerson; Grandchildren, Tricia (Teddy) Gatrost, Shannon Owen, John Thomas (Stanna) Hourigan, Tara (Jim) Kaelin and Shaun (Jessica) Hourigan; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Margaret's life will be conducted Monday, March 15, 2010 at 10 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 7813 Shelbyville Road with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road.
