Memorial services are 2 p.m. Sunday, April 10, at Buffalo First Christian Church. She donated her body to medical science.

Mary Elma Harrell, 91, was born March 23, 1920, at Ramona, Okla., the daughter of John Edgar and Eugenia (Stegar) Cummings. She died April 3, 2011, at Citizens Memorial Healthcare in Bolivar.

She was united in marriage with Ed Harrell.

While living in California, she worked for the Redwood News Agency for some years. They lived in Lebanon for over 20 years before moving to Buffalo about seven years ago. She was a member of the First Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Harrell; three brothers; one half-brother; and two half-sisters.

Survivors include a stepson, Clyde Gargus, Lebanon; a son, Charles Harrell, Sneads Ferry, Texas; two daughters: Peggy Swanigan, Springfield, and Barbara Wood, Buffalo; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
