William Felix Murphy, born June 3, 1864, in Rutherglen, Lanarkshire County, Scotland, of Irish decent. Williams parents born in Ireland and Scotland they were Felix Murphy & Agnes McKennay/McKinney. William father Felix died in 1882 in Scotland. His Mother Agnes immigrated 1882-1883 to America shortly after her husband Felix died.

William arrived in America 27, July 1881 in N.Y., departing from Glasgow Scotland, Wm. traveled with his brother in law William Kilpatrick, and his sister Mary.

Wm worked in the local coal mines in Plymouth Township, until he witnesses his brother John's death in the coal mines, John was blown up by a defective squib, Wm left the mines declaring that he would never again work in the coal mines. Later,

Wm came back to PA., and he died of a one week illness of pleurisy & pneumonia on 1, March 1913 at the age of 49, and is buried here at St. Vincent's Cemetery, Larksville, PA.., along with his brother John, and his wife along with John's daughter Susan, whom was murdered by her spouse in 1903.

Agnes McKinney Murphy his mother is also buried here yet I don't know if she is in the same plot, as Agnes was initial buried at Welsh Hill Cemetery which was St. Vincent's Original cemetery.
