Mr. Willie Castle, age 91 of Guthrie, KY, passed away Thursday at his home. Mr. Castle was born January 28, 1921 in Johnson County, KY, son of the late Oscar and Seiffert Daniels Castle. He was as retired plumber, a member of the Guthrie Baptist Church and a 60 year member of the Guthrie - Bethel Masonic Lodge #669. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Emma Jean Castle of Guthrie; one son, Mike Castle of Clarksville; two daughters, Sherrie Paddy (Lauren) of Guthrie and Karen Dixon (Jerry) of Canton, GA; brother, Jerry Castle of Paintsville, KY and one sister, Kathleen Stull of Kettering, OH; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends at the Cook-Webb Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. Funeral service is scheduled Monday at 2 p.m., at the Guthrie Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 12 until service at 2 p.m. Bro. Stephen Childers officiating. Interment to follow at the Highland Cemetery in Guthrie.
