Birth: Jul. 21, 1920
Clark County
Kentucky, USA
Death: Feb. 10, 1968
Fayette County
Kentucky, USA

Known exclusively as "Ethel". Her birth certificate #34397 lists her date of birth as July 21, 1920; however, her tombstone is inscribed June 21, 1920.

Married 1st James R. Mercer about 1940, who was killed in action while serving in the U.S. Army during WWII. Married 2nd Ashby White in 1945, who was killed in a vehicle accident a short time later. Married 3rd Henry L. Bryant. Married 4th Samuel J. Holcomb, who she was only married to for a short time prior to her death. She had a son by her 1st marriage and no children by her other marriages.

Buried next to her 3rd husband, Henry L. Bryant.

Ethel elected to have surname BRYANT inscribed on her tombstone; therefore, this memorial established under her married name Bryant instead of Holcomb.
